Daily Report : Saturday, Day -9

Well, today after days of internship in Magelang city, i decide to make LAST WEEK PREPARATION REPORT for you guys. In this week (actually it's 9 days) im going to do JOURNEY AROUND SOLO and share many things that you have to know about Solo city.

So, with my "new" traveling bag, a camera, and notes, i will spread the beauty of Solo City!

The night after arrived at solo from magelang, i dicide to visit the NGARSOPURO NIGHT MARKET near the MANGKUNEGARAN PALACE. This place is a must to visit for you. This Ngarsopuro Night Market only held at saturday night, there are many stalls selling Batik, merchandise, bags, food, etc.

If you find that the merchandise in the souvenir stores or malls are so expensive, this place is the alternative. Actually the products may not as good as those which sold in malls, but it's still nice products to bring home.

Like this damn nice miniature.

You probably not gonna find this kind of thing in the other place, and the merchant said that you can ask him to make your own design. Maybe you want him to make a miniature of you and me doin' peek a boo? go ahead!

They're also got another cool miniatures, and it's bigger.

Am i forget to mention "BATIK"? there you go...

for girls? you'll like these bags so much...

and these lamps...

Dreamless nights? say no more...

A cool place to visit, isn't it? and you probably started to love solo?

ever heard about "WAYANG" PUPPET? you can have them! (the small version o'course)

errr, no idea about what on earth did he do? but seems to be this guy is an "AKIK" stone seller. It's kind of gem stone, look at those oversized gems on his fingers.

Well then, pretty awesome stuffs 'eh?
oh yea, about the price? Im sure that those stuffs are affordable for you. If you feel that the price is not good for you, you can bargain with the merchants (and it's legal, jajaja).

Im not recommend you to buy foods in the Night Market because the culinary there are so common, you can find the kind of foods there anywhere in solo. But if you want, you can try wedang ronde, sate kere, jagung rebus, bakso bakar, (google it by yourself :p).

Then for the closing after walking around the Night Market, take a walk about 20 meters from the end of the market, you will find a famous wedangan-style restaurant called "Tiga Tjeret" (i tell you later about wedangan).

It's a cool place with nice decorations and ofcourse you can take selfie here.

and the meals are so unique, this place provides you the classic javanese foods and drinks. But watch out for the ultra-spicy meals, those who doesn't get used to spicy things will get red faces.

Well that's my report today, from this day till the end of this project i will post another cool articles about solo and the project it self.
